Historical Heritage

The dimensions and traditional crafting techniques for this piece are directly inspired by documented historical works created by European artisans. German potters of the Westerwald region were particularly renowned for crafting presentation ring-jugs, featuring a distinctive ring shape paired with a foot-ring, neck, spout, and handle.

This pitcher was showcased within Maria V. Howard Arts Center’s national juried exhibition: HANDCRAFTED 2024.
